what's actually in a haylow kit?
every kit is five pieces built around one ritual: something to write in, something to write with, something to hold, something to mark your place, and a card of prompts for the days you need it. the exact pieces are chosen for each kit's moment — the full list lives on that kit's product page. it arrives banded, in a lift-top box.
is it gift-ready, or do i need to wrap it?
it arrives wrapped by design — the kit is sealed with a printed band inside a black box with a nest of crinkle. sliding the band off is the unwrapping. add a gift note at checkout and we'll include it.
will my stone look like the photos?
close — but not identical, on purpose. every stone we use is natural and one of a kind: different bands, different colors. the one you receive chose you.
is this a "for women" thing?
no. beginnings don't have a gender. the kits are black, gold, and useful — they land as well as a promotion gift for a brother as a fresh-start gift for a best friend.
how fast does it ship?
every order leaves our own warehouse in chicago within 2 business days. standard shipping arrives in 3–5 business days; express is available at checkout.
what if something arrives damaged or wrong?
every kit is assembled and inspected by hand, so this is rare — but if it happens, send a photo to hello@thehaylow.com within 7 days and we'll replace it or refund you, no return required. full details on our returns page.
can i order these for a group or an event?
yes — that's our favorite kind of order. 25 to 1,000 kits for teams, weddings, retreats, reunions, conferences, client gifts, or anything that needs a meaningful thing in quantity. kitted and shipped from our own fulfillment floor, your card in every box if you'd like. see custom orders or email hello@thehaylow.com.
who makes this?
haylow is built by hand at a woman-owned logistics company in chicago. by day we move freight and fulfill orders for other brands — so the shipping part, we're unreasonably good at.
